PROJECT DESCRIPTION RHIZOME (in collaboration with Moniką Waraxą and Łukasz Dziedzic)
Painting a portrait is one of the most intimate acts, where a synergy occurs between the person being portrayed and the artist. In our approach, there is an element of playfulness – painting each other, exchanging information, connecting, and multiplying. The result will be diptychs of friends, but we ourselves will also receive two different faces, reflections in the prism of another, unfamiliar sensitivity.

Podróżniczka I The traveler
To kompilacja dwóch obrazów, które łączy kształt gotyckiego łuku i rakiety Starship Elona Muska. Podróżniczka zmierza ku świetlistej przestrzeni, która jest osiągalna tylko dla niej, przejawia ruch do wewnątrz – ku sobie. Starship jest wyrazem męskiej ekspansji, która ma jasny cel – to Księżyc i Mars. Dla obu jest to moment początku podróży.
This is a compilation of two images, connected by the shape of a Gothic arch and Elon Musk’s Starship rocket. The female traveler journeys towards a luminous space that is attainable only to her, exhibiting movement inwards – towards herself. Starship is an expression of male expansionism with a clear goal – the Moon and Mars. For both, it is the beginning of a journey.
Widoczki I Views
Views and works from the album Sketchbook are notes from a journey that never took place. In Views the colors were given by the algorithm of the program used to color black and white photos. Their unnaturalness emphasizes the artificiality of the whole situation. Scenes from Views and Sketchbook can be found in books which makes Tower.
